Todd Wallack

National Education Reporter

Todd Wallack is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in education reporting and investigative journalism. Currently serving as the National Education Reporter at The Washington Post since October 2025, Wallack previously worked at WBUR from March 2021 to October 2025 as an investigative and data reporter and also held the position of Deputy Managing Editor. Wallack's background includes eight years as an investigative and data reporter for the Boston Globe Spotlight Team, with earlier roles covering life sciences and financial services. Additional experience includes fellowships at the Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard and positions at notable publications such as the San Francisco Chronicle and Boston Herald. Wallack holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Journalism from Northwestern University.
