Welcome to The Western Routes! TWR originated due to the love and respect for the state of Maharashtra. The aim is to take travellers to some of the most beautiful and unexplored corners of Maharashtra. The immense respect for the destination, the people, the culture and the wilderness forms the crux of each tour with TWR.

Currently we have itineraries in Ratnagiri & Sindhudurg in Konkan (Western Maharashtra), Aurangabad, Ajantha & Ellora Caves in Marathwada and Tadoba & Pench Tiger Reserves in Vidarbha (Central India).

A TWR tour can be customised to your need depending on the activities you like – Be it chilling on the beach while enjoying some delicious grilled pomfret or getting your hands dirty making pots with the local potter, going incommunicado in the forest bird-watching and tracking tigers or helping farmers in their farms, exploring the Maratha history of the numerous forts or just getting spiritual at the many old temples!
