The Wheels Project is a registered charity based in Bristol. 

Since 1979, we have been delivering educational programmes in motor vehicle based studies to disadvantaged and disaffected young people between 14-18 years of age.  

We work primarily with young people who may be struggling in mainstream education, showing low aspirations, low motivation and challenging behaviours. Many of the young people referred to the Wheels Project have special educational needs. 

We are a Bristol City Council approved Alternative Learning Provider and continue to adapt our model to the changing needs of young people. 

We work in partnership with secondary schools, local authorities and other alternative learning providers to ensure that we keep children safe in education and uphold child protection and safeguarding.
