The Wickers Charity is an anti-knife crime, non-profit organisation based in Hackney. 

Founded in 2018 by businessman and philanthropist Henry Smith, our mission is to combat knife crime through the provision of positive outlets and role models. We strive to empower youth using a range of initiatives, including extra-curricular activities, support services for schools, employability programmes, and much more.

Since our inception, we have been dedicated to creating safe spaces and opportunities for young people in Hackney, helping them to build the skills, confidence, and resilience needed to thrive in today’s world. We are truly committed to our community, offering vital resources and support to those who need it most.

Through our programmes, we aim to equip the next generation with the tools to succeed and to foster a sense of belonging, purpose, and hope within our community.
