Stuart Ake

Stuart Ake has extensive experience in the wine industry, currently serving as the VP of Winemaking Accounts at The Wine Foundry since February 2014, where innovative winemaking practices are emphasized. Additionally, Stuart co-founded Anarchist Wine Co. in July 2015, promoting a creative approach to winemaking. Previous roles include founding Tasting Lab to provide wine education experiences, serving as Director of Wine Education at Crushpad with a focus on immersive educational programs, and owning Waveland Wines, specializing in Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Stuart's early career in education includes a role as an educator in the San Leandro Unified School District, where significant contributions were made to developmental planning. Stuart holds a BA in Education and Philosophy from The New School and has attended the University of California, Berkeley.
