Jon Parry

Jon Parry currently serves as Head of Research at The Workforce Development Trust, a position held since May 2009, where responsibilities include directing internationally recognized research and providing technical expertise in various economic sectors and academia. Previous experience includes leading research across Children and Young People’s Directorates for South Yorkshire Local Authorities from November 2004 to April 2009, focusing on service delivery for 0-19 year olds. Prior to that, Jon worked as a Researcher/Policy Adviser for the Office of Linda McAvan MEP from May 1998 to October 2004, conducting evaluations related to UK and European policies. Early career experience includes a role as a Research Associate at the University of Sheffield, with responsibilities in teaching undergraduate students. Jon Parry holds a Master of Arts in Communities and Social Exclusion, a Postgraduate Certificate in Research Methods, and a degree in Politics from The University of Sheffield.
