Chris Newstead

Chris Newstead has over 25 years of experience in various roles in the field of business intelligence and analytics. Chris started their career as a Graduate Programme General Insurance at Legal & General in 1991 before moving on to become a Management Information Manager at Whitbread from 1993 to 2006. From 2006 to 2014, Chris was the Global Head of Business Intelligence & Commercial Analysis at Betfair. Chris then joined Wonga.com as the Head of Business Intelligence from 2014 to 2015. Currently, Chris is serving as the Senior Director of Operations at The Workshop - Inventors of play, where they are responsible for driving Business Intelligence and Analytics strategy, as well as managing cross-functional departments such as Finance and Legal.

Chris Newstead attended the University of Warwick from 1988 to 1991 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics and Business Studies.
