Our mission is to create a happier, more fulfilled society through a world of work without bias. The Workstyle Revolution is a not-for-profit founded by Lizzie Penny and Alex Hirst with a mission.

For their work at Workstyle Revolution, co-founders Lizzie and Alex were named as #4 in HR Magazine’s Most Influential Thinkers 2025.  

Partnering with charities including Scope, Autistica, Astriid and Mind, we seek to close employment gaps for those who are structurally excluded from work, and create a world in which everyone can work in a way that suits their individual needs and circumstances (aka, their ‘workstyle’). 

Built on over a decade of research and practical experience, Workstyle Revolution promotes personalised work as a catalyst for improving wellbeing, productivity and inclusion across society. It raises awareness, showcases best practices, and leads the conversation on the future of work. 

We have participated in multiple events at the Houses of Parliament on the subject of autonomy and inclusion at work, and also build communities through education, storytelling and advocacy giving voices to those excluded by traditional 9-to-5 norms. 

At its core, the movement challenges outdated work systems and inspires and empowers employers to reimagine how, when and where work happens - driving lasting social change and enabling work to fit around life for everyone.
