At The Writer’s Ally, we help nonfiction authors write, refine, publish, and market the right book—not just any book. Our clients are experts who feel overwhelmed by the writing process, unsure if their draft is working, or afraid they’re writing the wrong book altogether.

We provide clarity, compassionate guidance, and professional editorial support through our proven Right Book Method—a step-by-step path that takes authors from idea to finished book with confidence.

“The Writer's Ally makes it easy. They focus on the dozens and dozens of tasks behind the scenes so you can just focus on creating the best work you can. They make a daunting process feel personal, straightforward, and enjoyable.”
— Melinda Cohan, author of The Confident Coach, The Professional Coach, and Sustainable Success

Whether you’re shaping an idea, revising a draft, preparing to publish, or planning a launch, you don’t have to guess your way through. There’s a clear, guided path—and we’re here to lead you through it.

We believe:

Every meaningful book begins with clarity.

Authors do their best work when supported with care.

Craft matters—your book should reflect your expertise.

Our team brings over 25 years of publishing experience, including roles at Simon & Schuster and across traditional, hybrid, and self-publishing. We’ve helped hundreds of authors clarify their message, strengthen their manuscripts, and publish books they’re proud to share.

If you want to write a book that grows your visibility, business, and reputation—you’re in the right place. (We also work with select fiction and memoir writers.)

“I’ve wanted to publish forever… but I just couldn’t do it. TWA has these amazing, flexible packages. The fact that they can do different types of books is wonderful.”
— Joanie Strulowitz, author of My Love Affair with Manhattan and Ballad The Light Follower

Let’s create the right book for your goals—the one only you can write.
