Thad Simons

Thad Simons is the founder of The Yield Lab. Prior to this, they served as senior executive advisor to the board of directors at Novus International, Inc. from March 1991 to March 2016. In this role, they were responsible for all legal matters as well as leading the business development and human resources functions. From March 1984 to March 1991, Thad worked as an attorney at Monsanto, where they were responsible for general legal and regulatory affairs at the corporate and European offices and for operations throughout Europe and Africa. Prior to Monsanto, Thad worked as an associate at Dechert, Price and Rhoads from March 1980 to March 1984, where they were responsible for general corporate legal work for American clients in Belgium, providing guidance on European Community Law, including tax, anti-trust and anti-dumping.

Thad Simons attended Evans High School before going on to The University of Georgia for their B.A. in Political Science. Thad then attended University of Georgia School of Law for their J.D. After law school, they completed an LL.M. at Columbia Law School. Thad also has a D.E.A in Law from University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne and an LL.M. from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
