Steven Rust

Steven Rust is an experienced theatre consultant and lighting designer with a diverse background in technical design and project management. Currently serving as an Associate at Theatre Projects since September 2009, Steven has previously held the position of Owner at Rust Design from January 2005 to October 2009. Additionally, Steven worked as the Director of Technical Design at Sachs Morgan Studio from 1999 to 2009, overseeing significant renovation projects at notable venues including the Eisenhower Theatre at the Kennedy Center and the Mark Taper Forum. Steven began a career in production management at Columbia Artists Management, Inc. from January 1993 to January 1996, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Connecticut College, earned between 1981 and 1984.
