Frontend Developer at BACH

Abbey Campbell has over five years of work experience in the tech industry. Abbey began their career in 2015 as Co-Director/Web Developer at First Continent, where they migrated to AWS S3 as a cost-efficient and low maintenance solution for hosting a static site with many images, and refactored codebase to utilize semantic HTML and added alternative texts for images. Later that year, they took on roles at Open Source, including Cypress Recorder, Public Pantry, and ADA. At Open Source, they co-developed a chrome developer tool to record user interaction with websites, implemented continuous integration using CircleCI, leveraged TypeScript’s static type-checking, leveraged a mapping API to build a responsive and interactive mapping application, modeled data for a relational database, architected a NodeJS/Express server, authenticated users with OAuth via Github, configured an in-memory data store with Redis, and utilized React Hooks. Most recently, in 2020, Abbey joined BACH as a Frontend Developer.

Abbey Campbell attended both the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and Tufts University from 2010 to 2014.
