Geoff Barton

Geoff Barton is an experienced Art Director with a strong background in editorial design and management. Since September 2017, Geoff has served as Art Director at The Cricketer. Prior to this role, from November 2015 to September 2017, Geoff worked as Design Editor at Time Inc., leading design for Sporting Gun and Shooting Gazette. At Chelsea Magazines, from February 2015 to November 2015, Geoff held the position of Art Editor, focusing on editorial design and redesigns for Sailing Today and Yachts & Yachting. As Group Art Editor at Newsquest Specialist Media Ltd from 2004 to February 2015, Geoff oversaw various publications and managed a team of designers. Earlier experience includes contract design work for Immediate Network Ltd and Running Man Publishing. Geoff holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Product Design from Brunel University London, completed in 1997.
