Daniel Taylor

Daniel Taylor is an accomplished Programme Officer at The North East Combined Authority since March 2025, and a Level 4 Match Official, currently serving as a Referee and Assistant Referee in various leagues under The Football Association since March 2011. Previously, Daniel held leadership roles at Groundwork NE & Cumbria, contributing as Engagement Lead and Youth & Community Lead, and managed educational programs at Huddersfield Town Foundation. Daniel's extensive experience in the sports sector includes mentorship and participation initiatives with Northumberland Football Association Limited and coaching young athletes through QUADRANT LEISURE COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY. Daniel holds a PGCE from North East Partnership SCITT, a Bachelor of Science in Applied Sport Science with Coaching from Northumbria University, and a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport and Exercise Science from Gateshead College.
