Ian Varley is an experienced academic and consultant in the field of exercise physiology, currently serving as an Associate Professor at Nottingham Trent University since December 2010. In addition to academic roles, Ian holds the position of Injury and Illness Consultant with The Football Association, starting in July 2018. Prior to these roles, Ian was a Technician at Nottingham Trent University from 2006 to 2010 and completed a PhD while also working in academia.
