James Foxon

Coach Educator

James Foxon currently serves as the Assistant Headteacher for Behaviour, Support and Welfare at FINHAM PARK SCHOOL since January 2024. With an extensive background in education and coaching, James has held the position of Assistant Headteacher at North Leamington School from September 2015 to December 2023, where responsibilities included leading student leadership initiatives, rewards and recognition, and behaviour management. Concurrently, James has been a Coach Educator for The Football Association since August 2016. Previously, James was the Lead Youth Development Coach at Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club and the Head of Youth Development Phase at Right to Dream, where leadership involved coaching young talent in one of Africa's premier football academies. James has also worked as an Elite Development Coach with Auckland Football Federation and taught at Taunton's College, Southampton, achieving notable regional and national success. Academic qualifications include a PGCE in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching from the University of Southampton and a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Exercise Science from the University of Birmingham.
