Jon Block has extensive experience in sports coaching, officiating, and education. Currently serving as Impact Skills Programme Lead, Skills Tutor, and Skills & Development Coach at First Intuition East Anglia since May 2019, Jon also holds the position of ECB Umpire with the England and Wales Cricket Board since April 2024. Additionally, Jon has been involved with the Professional Game Match Officials Limited as a National Group Assistant Referee and Step 1 Assistant Referee since July 2016, and serves as a FA CORE Performance Coach with The Football Association. Previous roles include Suffolk FA CORE Lead Coach for the Suffolk County Football Association Limited from August 2019 to June 2023, Cover Manager and Cover Supervisor at Hobart High School Academy Trust from November 2014 to May 2019, and Sports Assistant at Taverham High School from September 2012 to November 2014. Jon Block holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports and Exercise from the University of Suffolk, completed in 2012, and has a solid educational foundation with studies at East Norfolk Sixth Form College and Hobart High School.
