Kelly Smith

England Women's Team

Kelly Smith, MBE, is a distinguished former professional footballer with extensive experience in the sport. Smith has played for the England Women's Team from January 1995 to the present, achieving 117 caps and scoring 46 goals. Previous roles include serving as a professional footballer and assistant coach at Arsenal F.C. from 2010 to 2018, as well as playing for the Boston Breakers in the Women’s United Soccer Association from 2009 to 2012. Additionally, Smith was a member of the GB Olympic Team during the London 2012 Games and held the position of assistant academy coach at Arsenal F.C. from 2005 to 2009, alongside a brief stint with the New Jersey Wildcats in 2004. Smith holds a Bachelor's Degree in Health and Physical Education from Seton Hall University and a BTEC National Diploma in Sports Science from West Herts College.
