Lorcán Thorpe is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Political Theory at the London School of Economics while collaborating on a research paper regarding AI governance in ASEAN with LSE IDEAS. Lorcán holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Warwick, as well as a concurrent study at McMaster University. In addition to academic pursuits, Lorcán has served as a qualified match official with the Football Association since 2017, officiating in various competitions and demonstrating strong people management skills. Lorcán gained national recognition as a contestant who won a £100,000 team prize on Series 17 of the ITV game show The Chase.
