Matt Mansfield has a diverse work experience in various industries. Matt began their career in 2001 as an Internet Administrator at Quiet Storm Solutions Limited, where they provided front-line customer support and managed website maintenance. In 2004, they were promoted to Online Support Manager, overseeing a team of programmers and designers and managing website development projects. In 2010, they joined Phoenix Hospital Radio as Deputy Station Manager, and later became Station Manager in 2012. In 2013, Matt joined The Football Association as an IT Service Delivery Lead, responsible for managing a team of support analysts and providing technology and audio-visual support to staff at St George's Park. Additionally, Matt has experience as a Web Developer and Photographer at Gresley FC, where they designed and maintained the club's website and served as a match photographer.

Matt Mansfield attended Granville Community School from 1994 to 1999. Matt then pursued a National Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering at Burton College from 1999 to 2001. In 2003, they completed a City & Guilds 2377 program at Empower Training in Nottingham. In 2019, they obtained a certification in IPAF Mobile Elevating Work Platforms from Workplatform Ltd in Castle Donington.
