Matt Potter

Matt Potter is an accomplished football coach with extensive experience in player and coach development across various clubs and organizations. Currently serving as the Head of Academy Coaching at Northampton Town Football Club, Potter has also held significant roles such as FA Lead Affiliate Coach Education Tutor for the Football Association since 2007, where responsibilities included delivering accredited coaching courses and mentoring coaches at various levels. Key achievements include the qualification of hundreds of coaches and the delivery of numerous CPD events both nationally and internationally. Previous positions include Technical Director at Go-Pro Sports Academy, Head Academy Coach at Gulf United FC, and Head of Coaching at Southend United FC, demonstrating expertise in curriculum development, coach education, and youth player progression throughout a dynamic career in football.
