Philip Heap

Philip Heap is an experienced professional in sports development, particularly in disability football. Currently serving as the National Participation Manager (Disability) at The Football Association since August 2011, Philip oversees the Disability Football Development Fund and managed the Cerebral Palsy Football World Championships 2015 at St George's Park. Prior experience includes a role as Principal Consultant at Logistique Sports Management Consultants, focusing on event management and sports development consultancy. Philip also held key positions at Manchester FA, where responsibilities included grassroots football oversight and development, and at Tameside Council, where contributions involved the Tameside Youth Offending Team's Sports Development Strategy. Philip earned a BSc (Hons) in Physical Education & Sports Science from Loughborough University.
