Rhys Long is an experienced professional in performance analysis within the sports industry. Since February 2016, Rhys has served as the Head of Performance Analysis & Insight at The Football Association. Prior roles include Head of Performance Analysis at the Welsh Rugby Union from July 2007 to February 2016, as well as multiple appointments in the same capacity for the British & Irish Lions during 2009 and 2013. Rhys began a career in performance analysis with London Wasps from June 2005 to July 2007. Educational credentials include a Master of Science (MSc) in Performance Analysis and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Sports and Exercise Science, both obtained from the University of Wales, Cardiff.
