Richard McDermott, ACG, currently serves as Company Secretary and previously held the position of Assistant Company Secretary at The Football Association since December 2009. Prior to that, Richard worked as Assistant Company Secretary at LCH.Clearnet from August 2007 to November 2009. Richard's academic qualifications include a Master of Science (MSc) in Sport Management and the Business of Football from Birkbeck, University of London (2013-2014), a Post Graduate Certificate in Sport Governance from the same institution (2012-2013), and a BA (Hons) in Politics and Philosophy from the University of Sunderland (1989-1992). Richard's foundational education was completed at Torquay Boys Grammar School.
