Steph Powell is a seasoned professional in sports development, currently serving as the National Development Manager for Volunteering at The Football Association since September 2023. In this role, Steph leads the implementation of the 'Developing a Valued Network of Volunteers' initiative as part of the National Grassroots Football Strategy. Previously, Steph held the position of Head of Football Development at Lincolnshire FA from July 2019 to October 2023, overseeing the development of women's and girls' football while managing a team of development officers. Experience also includes roles as Women & Girls' Development Lead at Boston United Football Club and as a PE Teacher at Hogsthorpe Primary Academy. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Sport & Exercise Psychology and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with Sports Sciences, both from Northumbria University.
