Stephen Brass currently serves as the Womens First Team Goalkeeping Coach at Newcastle United Football Club and as the Lead Goalkeeping Coach at The Football Association's Future Lionesses Goalkeeping Centre. Previous experience includes Head of Goalkeeping at Durham Women Football Club, Goalkeeping Coach at Durham University, and several roles in goalkeeping coaching at various clubs including Sunderland AFC, Spennymoor Town FC, and Gateshead Redheugh Football Club. Brass has been involved in goalkeeping coaching since 2010 and has developed expertise through significant contributions at both youth and senior levels in football. Education includes attendance at Dunston Comprehensive School and Newcastle College.
