Stuart Delaney

Stuart Delaney is an accomplished football coach with extensive experience in youth development and coaching education. Currently serving as an FA Youth Coach Developer at The Football Association since March 2014, Stuart provides support to elite coaches in the North West and delivers UEFA and FA courses as a tutor. Prior to this role, Stuart held key positions including Head of Academy Coaching and Youth Development Phase Lead Coach at Preston North End FC, Academy Manager at Accrington Stanley Football Club, Head of Youth at Stockport County FC, and 1st Team Coach at Shrewsbury Town Football Club. Additionally, Stuart worked as a Coach Educator for the Lancashire Football Association and began coaching at Preston North End FC in various roles starting in 1997. Stuart is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Coach Development from Leeds Beckett University, expected to complete in July 2024.
