Sue Day

Sue Day is the Director of Women’s and Para Football at the Football Association, a position held since 2024. Previously, they served as COO/CFO at the Rugby Football Union from 2018 to 2024, where they were responsible for finance, technology, stadium, and strategic insights. Earlier in their career, they were a rugby player, captaining both the Wasps and the England national teams from 1997 to 2009. Sue also held various roles at KPMG, including Director and Partner, providing strategic and financial advice in healthcare, government, and sport. They earned a Master of Arts in French and Spanish from the University of Oxford between 1991 and 1995.
