Umar Ahmed currently serves as the Equalities Lead (Active Adults) at Greater Manchester Moving since February 2024 and has been with Wakefield Council since April 2020, where responsibilities include leading the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and overseeing the Active and Inspired Project, benefiting over 40 youth projects in the Wakefield area.
