Casey Averett

Casey Averett has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Most recently, they worked at The General® as the Director of Claims Strategy starting in May 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Claim Operations - Material Damage from December 2019 to August 2022.

Before joining The General®, Casey worked at American Family Insurance for many years. They held various roles, including Regional DRP Auto Branch Claims Manager from March 2015 to December 2019. During their tenure, they successfully improved branch performance in areas such as loss costs, claim handling expense, customer experience, and employee engagement. They also built strategic relationships with sales partners, body shops, and external partners to deliver top-notch claims service. Casey actively stayed updated on industry procedures, regulatory changes, and policy updates to ensure compliance and successful outcomes.
