Mark Bode

Mark Bode is the current CFO at Theia Analytics Group. Mark is responsible for capital structure, fund raising, partnering and strategic planning of several companies. Mark prepares business plan and financial models supporting corporate growth. Mark manages investor relations, prepares and negotiates funding documents. Mark oversees financial reports and accounting relationships. Where applicable, they work to improve financial performance of operations.

Prior to their current position, Mr. Bode was the CEO of The Utopia Group, LLC / dba JoeyMedical. Mark was the initiator and one of the three founders of The Utopia Group. Having worked with medical device innovators over the previous two decades, they recognized that there was a very real need for a product like the Joey SprayGuard to protect caregivers from exposure to blood pathogens. As CEO of this early stage company, they did extensive capital raising, was the primary salesman for the product and oversaw all aspects of the company including design and manufacturing.

Mark Bode has an MBA with Honors from the University of Chicago - Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science from Swarthmore College. Mark majored in Political Science and was very active in multiple organizations heading up the theater, radio station and their fraternity. Mark was selected to represent the College in multiple national events and was in the Honors program.
