Michael Simpson

Michael Simpson is a Senior Research and Project Manager at Theirworld, where they focus on developing and executing research strategies. With a robust background in policy, advocacy, and public affairs, they have worked extensively within NGOs, both domestically and internationally. Michael served as a Communications and Policy Officer at DrugScope and held various senior roles including Senior Policy and Public Affairs Officer at NSPCC, where they specialized in children's legal rights. They also contributed to advocacy efforts in early childhood education at Save the Children UK and supported social worker policies as a Strategy and Policy Adviser at The College of Social Work. Michael holds a Master’s Degree in Gender, Sexuality, and Culture from Birkbeck, University of London, and a BA in Philosophy from the University of Liverpool.
