Maria Moon

Maria Moon has extensive experience in the field of early childhood education. Their most recent role was as Associate Vice President of Curriculum at The Learning Experience, where they focused on developing and implementing effective educational strategies. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Global Curriculum Strategy and UK Director of Academic Services at the same company. Maria also worked as a UK Curriculum Specialist at The Learning Experience, where they contributed to curriculum development. Before joining The Learning Experience, Maria worked as a Senior Curriculum Consultant at Early Excellence Ltd, where they provided expert guidance on curriculum planning. Maria also held leadership positions at Clarkson Infant and Nursery School and Clarkson Nursery and Infant School, where they served as Deputy Head Teacher and Nursery Teacher with a focus on early years education. Maria gained extensive knowledge and experience in early childhood education as an Early Years Foundation Stage Adviser and Early Years Childcare Adviser at Cambridgeshire County Council. Maria also served as an Early Years Lecturer at Tresham Institute of Further and Higher Education. Additionally, Maria has experience as the owner and manager of their own preschool, Jiminy Crickets Preschool, where they were responsible for all aspects of running the business and implementing a comprehensive curriculum. Throughout their career, Maria has demonstrated a passion for providing high-quality education and supporting the development of young children.

Maria Moon has a diverse education history. In 2004, they enrolled at the University of Northampton and completed their Ba(Hons) degree in Early Childhood Studies in 2008. Later, in 2013, they attended the University of East London School of Education and Communities and obtained Early Years Teacher Status, specializing in Early Years Education in 2014. Additionally, Maria has earned certifications outside of their formal education. In 2009, they obtained a Level 3 Forest School Leader certification from Green Light Trust. Furthermore, in October 2014, they received a Level 5 Business Adviser certification from the Chartered Management Institute.
