Matthew Bernhard

Regional Director at The Learning Experience

Matthew Bernhard has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Matthew started their career as a Manager at Auntie Anne's Hand-Rolled Pretzels, where they worked from 1999 to 2009, managing various locations and handling hiring, scheduling, accounting, and customer complaints. Matthew then moved on to work at Walt Disney's World Magic Kingdom as a College Program Intern in 2007, where they assisted managers and coordinators with employee and customer issues.

In 2009, Bernhard joined Murphy USA as a District Manager in Training, where they managed a high-volume retail convenience store location. Matthew later became a District Manager, overseeing multiple convenience/retail fueling stations in the Pensacola area and Southern Alabama. Matthew was responsible for all aspects of business operations, including sales strategies, employee training, competition analysis, and the development of new field operations software.

After their time at Murphy USA, Bernhard worked at Burger King Corporation as a Sales, Profits, and Operations Coach, supporting the management of up to 33 franchise restaurants. Matthew then joined Goldco LLC dba Burger King as a District Manager, where they managed ten Burger King quick-service restaurants.

In 2014, Bernhard joined Sysco as a Marketing Associate, where they contributed to the selling, marketing, and distribution of food products to various establishments. Matthew later became an Area Director at Crispers, Fresh Alternatives, LLC in 2015, accountable for growing sales and overseeing restaurant operations.

Most recently, Bernhard has been working at The Learning Experience since 2018, initially as a Regional Manager and currently as a Senior Manager of Corporate Operations. The Learning Experience is a fast-growing Academy of Early Education, where Bernhard has been involved in the company's growth and operations.

Matthew Bernhard completed their Bachelor's Degree in Management from Florida State University from 2004 to 2008. Matthew then pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Masters in Business Administration from Florida International University for the academic year 2012 to 2013.
