Amnon Harari

Head Of News Division at Haaretz

Amnon Harari has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and organizations. Amnon started their career as a Military Intelligence Officer in the Israel Defense Forces in 2006 and served in that role until 2010. After that, they joined Walla! NEWS, where they held multiple positions such as News Editor, Senior Editor, and ultimately Head of News Desk. In 2015, Amnon joined ePart as the VP Content & Editor In Chief for a year and a half. Following that, they worked as the Deputy Editor In Chief at Time Out Tel Aviv from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, they joined Haaretz as the Chief Sports Editor and Deputy Chief Digital Editor, and in 2022, they became the Head of the News Division. Additionally, from 2020 to 2021, they held the position of Chief Editor, Meet The Press, at Channel 12 News Israel. Throughout their career, Amnon has gained significant experience in journalism and news editing.

Amnon Harari earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government, with a focus on Media and Communication, from Tel Aviv University between 2011 and 2014.
