Ian Baxter

Ian Baxter has extensive work experience in the field of computer graphics and visual effects. Ian is currently serving as the Head of CG at The Mill since September 2022, where they previously worked as an FX Lead from September 2021 to August 2022. Prior to that, Ian worked at Industrial Light & Magic as a Senior FX TD from September 2016 to September 2021. Ian also has experience as an FX Artist at the mill from May 2010 to September 2016. Earlier in their career, Ian worked as a VFX TD at Prime Focus London from 2006 to 2010, and as the Head MCR at Hive from August 2005 to September 2006. Ian started their career as an MCR at Red Post Production from June 2003 to August 2005.

Ian Baxter completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Virtual Reality Systems from The University of Huddersfield. Ian attended the university from 2000 to 2003.
