Rui An

Rui An has a range of experience working in various roles and companies. They started their career in 2017 as a Lead Project Programmer at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications. In 2019, they worked as a Research Programmer at ML5 and also served as a Teaching Assistant for web programming at New York University. Later that year, they joined New Reali as a VR/AR Programmer. In 2020, Rui An worked as an Interactive Programmer at teamLab. From 2021 to 2023, they worked as a Unity Rendering Programmer at The AI Foundation. Currently, Rui An holds the position of Senior Creative Technologist at The Mill since 2023.

Rui An completed a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Computer Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2014 to 2018. Following this, from 2018 to 2020, Rui An pursued a Master of Professional Studies degree in the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) at New York University.
