Martina Meschis, PhD, is a Senior Scientist specializing in cancer immunotherapy with a strong background in ECM biology and cancer immunology. They obtained a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Liverpool, where their research focused on the role of LRP1 in lung fibrosis, resulting in two first author manuscripts in preparation. Martina honed their expertise in cancer vaccines at the Translational Immunology Group at the University of Liverpool and is currently engaged in metabolic characterization of ILCs in small cell lung cancer at the University of Bonn. Their previous experience includes postdoctoral research on DNA vaccines targeting cancer-associated antigens in oral cancer and melanoma, as well as a master's thesis on muscular dystrophy-related proteins at Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli.
