Bryan Bischof currently serves as the Head of AI at Theory Ventures since March 2025 and has been an Adjunct Professor at Rutgers University since August 2020, teaching masters-level courses in Data Science while developing course curriculum and lecture materials. Previously, Bryan held positions as an Angel Investor/Scout at CRV from October 2023 to March 2025, focusing on emerging AI companies, and as Director of Engineering at AiHex from February 2023 to February 2025, leading the engineering team for AI features. Additionally, Bryan co-authored the first O'Reilly book on Recommendation Systems from December 2021 to September 2023, working alongside Hector Yee. Bryan Bischof earned a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Kansas State University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mathematics from Westminster College (PA).
