Rogayeh Tabrizi

Rogayeh Tabrizi, PhD has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Rogayeh is currently the Founder & Chief Executive Officer at Theory+Practice, where they lead the strategic Client Services team and develops sustainable business growth strategies. Rogayeh also serves as a Director at AInBC, where they work to establish British Columbia as a leader in artificial intelligence and machine learning. Rogayeh is also a member of the International Women's Forum, where they contribute to advancing women's leadership and equality worldwide. Additionally, they are an Official Member of the Forbes Technology Council. In the past, Rogayeh has held roles such as Senior Associate at bethink solutions, Director of Data Science at Synereo LTD, and Senior Research Analyst at Engineers Without Borders Canada. Rogayeh has also gained academic experience as a Sessional Instructor and Teaching Assistant at Simon Fraser University. Throughout their career, Rogayeh has demonstrated a commitment to nonprofit and NGO work, serving in various advisory and leadership positions.

Rogayeh Tabrizi, PhD, obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physics from Sharif University of Technology between 2002 and 2006. Rogayeh then pursued further education at Simon Fraser University, where they completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Experimental Particle Physics from 2007 to 2009. Afterwards, Rogayeh went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Economics from Simon Fraser University, which they accomplished between 2010 and 2016.
