Thera is a therapist-run platform created for the Global South, BIPOC and TCKs worldwide. We believe in community, not corporate models, and that therapy should stay human.

We’re not an anonymous tech app. There is no algorithm behind matches, and your data is anonymised. Our accredited therapists are handpicked for their clinical excellence, cultural awareness, and commitment to your privacy. If you need support finding the right fit, our team is just a WhatsApp message away, no bots, no scripts.

There are no subscriptions, contracts, or hidden fees. You choose the fee range that works for you, and therapists set their own transparent rates. Because we believe therapy should be accessible, fair, and built on trust, not lock-ins. Talking about access: if you’re based in the GCC, we offer payments in interest-free instalments via Tabby.

Thera was created by mental health professionals who believe care should stay human, rooted in connection, accessibility, and cultural understanding.

For businesses: Thera also partners with organisations to design, implement and evaluate evidence-based workplace wellbeing strategies.
