Barbara Philippe

Barbara Philippe is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations, manufacturing, and supply chain management within the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Chief Operations Officer at Theramex since September 2024, Barbara previously held the role of SVP Manufacturing and Supply Chain Operations at CureVac, overseeing significant expenditures and a large team. Prior to CureVac, Barbara was VP of Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Supply Chain at Miltenyi Biotec, directing operations in cell and gene therapy. Barbara's extensive career at GSK included senior leadership positions across various divisions, managing large teams and budgets, and integrating operations from mergers. Educated at Université catholique de Louvain with a PhD in Biomedical Sciences, Barbara has also invested in ongoing professional development through various training and coaching programs.
