Nicholas Brüss

Nicholas Brüss is an experienced professional in the field of psychedelic medicine and psychotherapeutic practices, currently serving as an MDMA Researcher and Therapist at the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) since September 2016, where involvement includes the FDA Phase III clinical trial of MDMA-assisted therapy for PTSD. As the Director of Psychedelic Medicine Advocacy for TREAT California, Nicholas aims to advance mental health initiatives in the upcoming ballot and secure substantial funding for research and access. Co-founding and leading training for the Psychedelic Coalition for Health, Nicholas contributes to education and advocacy in psychedelic medicine. Additionally, roles as Clinical Supervisor for MDMA therapy at Lykos Therapeutics and Lead Therapist at Compass Pathways highlight notable clinical leadership, while ongoing psychotherapeutic practice since January 2011 and previous strategic engagement with La Maida Project underscore a commitment to addressing mental health crises. Nicholas Brüss holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
