Darren Rash has over 30 years of experience in the software and surveying industries. Darren began their career in 1985 as a Professional Land Surveyor for Precision Land Surveying. In 1991, they moved to Michael Baker Corporation, where they worked as a Professional Land Surveyor/IS Manager/GIS-T Project Manager and led the Land Surveying and GIS-T software development departments. In 1997, they took on the role of Chief Technical Officer at Agusta Aerospace Corporation. In 1999, they moved to eNtegrity as a Lead Developer. In 2000, they joined Axis as a Senior Developer. In 2001, they began working for NextGen Healthcare Information Systems as a Senior Developer DevOps, where they developed and coded the Electronic Signature, Optical Equipment and Custom Print Modules in a mix of C++ MFC and C# languages. Darren eventually took over all build responsibilities and developed all the build, packaging and testing framework originally in CruiseControl and later transitioned to Jenkins pipelines (Simple, Declarative and Groovy). In 2019, they joined TherapyNotes, LLC as a Senior Software Engineer.
Darren Rash attended Covenant College from 1978 to 1979, studying Computer Science. Darren then attended Bucks County Community College from 1979 to 1981, studying Computer Science and Accounting. After that, they attended Mercer County Community College from 1983 to 1984, studying Land Surveying. Finally, they attended Drexel University from 1984 to 1985, studying Land Surveying/Engineering. In addition, they obtained a Professional Land Surveying License from the New Jersey State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in 1984, and a Learning Jenkins certification from LinkedIn in 2018.
