Jesse Fecker

Jesse Fecker has extensive work experience in the field of intellectual property. Jesse currently serves as the Vice President and Head of Intellectual Property at Theravance Biopharma US, Inc. and has held this position since August 2023. Prior to this, Jesse was the Head of Intellectual Property at the same company from August 2022 to August 2023.

Before joining Theravance Biopharma US, Inc., Jesse worked at Ferring Pharmaceuticals for several years. Jesse held various roles at the company, including Head of Intellectual Property, Ferring Ventures from November 2020 to August 2022, Senior Director and Chief US Patent Counsel from November 2016 to October 2021, Director of US Patent Counsel from June 2015 to November 2016, and Associate Director of US Patent Counsel from September 2012 to May 2015.

Prior to their time at Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Jesse worked as an Associate at Choate, Hall & Stewart from October 2011 to September 2012. Jesse also gained experience at Ropes & Gray LLP as an Associate from September 2008 to September 2011 and as a Patent Agent from November 2004 to August 2008. Jesse's career started at Hamilton, Brook, Smith & Reynolds, P.C., where they worked as a Patent Agent/Technology Specialist from September 2001 to October 2004.

Jesse Fecker attended Bard College at Simon's Rock from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a B.A. degree in Natural Science. From 1996 to 2001, they pursued their Ph.D. in Bioinorganic Chemistry at Dartmouth College. Jesse then attended Boston University School of Law from 2005 to 2008, completing their Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
