Aaron Warrick

Aaron Warrick started their work experience as a Co-Founder & CEO of Reju, a mental health and holistic wellness mobile application. In this role, they established an inspiring self-care community and facilitated connections between users and wellness practitioners.

Aaron then worked at DC Water as an SCADA and Process Controls professional from April 2019 to July 2022. Their responsibilities included maintaining and updating the SCADA system to ensure uninterrupted operation, managing upgrades and maintenance contracts, and planning and implementing SCADA and Instrumentation systems for various departments.

Before that, they worked as an Industrial Cyber Security Engineer and Senior Consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton from December 2017 to December 2018. Aaron provided expertise in industrial control system (ICS) and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) cybersecurity, consulting with clients on secure design, conducting risk assessments, and implementing monitoring solutions.

Prior to that, they were an Automation and Control Systems Engineer at WGL from August 2014 to December 2017. Aaron oversaw the safe delivery of natural gas through engineering hardware and software automation solutions, and ensured network infrastructure system integrity and cyber security.

Aaron also gained experience as a WAN Operations Intern at Washington Gas from May 2013 to September 2013, where they focused on network infrastructure system integrity, cyber security, and configuring router settings.

Aaron Warrick completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Lincoln University in the years 2010 to 2014. Aaron then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering at George Mason University from 2017 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Aaron has obtained various certifications, including Application Server 2017, Historian Server 2017, and System Platform Maintenance 2017 from Wonderware. Aaron has also received certifications in Process Control and PID Controller Tuning from Control Station, Inc., ClearSCADA Advanced Level 1 and Level 2, as well as ClearSCADA ISaGRAF Workbench 6 Programming from Schneider Electric. Aaron further holds certifications in CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Industrial Electricity Certification from TPC Trainco, Studio5000 Logix Designer I, and Studio5000 Logix Designer II from Rockwell Automation.
