John Tinsley

John Tinsley is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in energy efficiency, decarbonization, and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as Vice President and Co-Founder of Therm Solutions since December 2021, John leads efforts to transition away from super-pollutant refrigerants in HVAC systems and implement effective decarbonization strategies. Prior to this role, John was an Account Executive at McKinstry, where John enhanced operational efficiency and energy conservation for organizations in the Pacific Northwest. John's career also includes notable roles at Dalkia Energy Solutions, where John managed a national energy efficiency program, and Korry Electronics, where John significantly improved production processes and product design. Holding a Master of Engineering Management from Duke University and a B.S. and B.A. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of San Diego, John combines technical expertise with a commitment to sustainable practices.
