Amolsing Chavan

Amolsing Chavan has extensive experience in engineering and project management within the thermal and energy sectors. Currently serving as Manager and Head of Engineering & Proposals at Thermax Limited since September 2019, Amolsing oversees the Boilers, Heaters, Heat Exchangers Retrofit and Revamping, and Spares business. Previously, as Product Manager at Forbes Vyncke Pvt Ltd, Amolsing managed biomass-fired projects. Amolsing's earlier tenure at Thermax Limited included the role of Associate Manager, where responsibilities encompassed engineering for oil and gas and solid fuel-fired systems. Amolsing began a career as a Design Engineer at Transparent Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd., contributing to chiller and heat recovery boiler designs, after initial training as an Engineering Apprentice at Kinetic Engineering Limited. Amolsing holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
