Peter Hofbauer

Peter Hofbauer has amassed an incredible body of energy-efficiency work, including two decades at Volkswagen (where he rose to head of Worldwide Powertrain Development), long executive runs at Bosch Viessmann Energie (where he helped create the predecessor technology of the Hofbauer Thermal Compression Climate Control) and Viessmann (where he earned a European Innovative Achievement award for the ultra-low-emission MatriX and RotriX burner system) and 150-plus international patents. Professor Hofbauer has launched several high-volume automotive production lines leveraging his combustion-systems expertise.
