Sam Cryer is the founder and CEO of Thermulon, a carbon negative operations company. Sam has also worked as a teaching and support lecturer at UCL and Queen Mary University of London, and as a senior researcher at Imperial College London.
Cryer's work focuses on the identification of opportunities in the carbon utilisation space suitable for the formation of carbon neutral or negative companies. Sam is also interested in the future of energy, the role of CO2 in a circular economy, and how to bring new technology forward in a multi-disciplinary approach.
Sam Cryer has a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from Imperial College London, a Master's Degree in MRes Plastic Electronics from the same school, and an MSci in Chemistry (1st Class Honours) from Imperial College London. Sam also has A-levels in Maths (A), Physics (A), Chemistry (A), Economics (B), and AS-level Critical Thinking from Sharnbrook Upper School. Finally, they are certified by the Royal College of Science as an Associate of the Royal College of Science (ARCS).
